About TinyTales
TinyTales makes personalized children's books where your child doesn't just see their name on the page — they see themselves, and they decide how the story goes.
What we make
Most personalized children's books insert a first name into a fixed story. TinyTales goes further in two ways. From a single real photo, your child's likeness is rendered into every illustration — so the hero genuinely looks like them, not like a generic character wearing their name. And every story branches: your child makes choices that change what happens next.
Each book comes as an instant interactive digital flip-book, with page-turn animations and in-story choices, and as a printed hardcover or softcover keepsake shipped within the United States. One purchase can include both.
Personalizing a book takes one thing: your child's first name. A photo and a custom dedication are optional additions — though the photo is where most of the magic happens.
Why the choices matter
A child who is told to be brave learns a rule. A child who chooses to be brave, and then sees what follows, practices a decision.
That's the idea behind every TinyTales story. The branches aren't decoration — each one puts a small, age-appropriate decision in your child's hands: tell the truth or hide it, help someone or keep walking, try again or ask for help. The story responds to what they pick.
It changes how the book gets read, too. A fixed story is the same on the tenth reading. A branching one is not, and a child who knows their choice matters pays a different kind of attention.
The stories
The catalog covers the moments that actually come up in a childhood: the monster at bedtime, the first day of school, a new baby arriving at home, brushing teeth, and trips to meet dinosaurs, dragons, and the stars.
Each story is built around a value its choices teach — bravery, honesty, kindness, and knowing when to ask for help. Stories are written for roughly ages three to eight, and you can browse the whole collection by age and theme.
Reading it together
A branching book changes the job of the grown-up holding it. Instead of reading to a child, you end up reading with one — pausing at each fork, asking what they think, and finding out.
We've tried to keep the choices genuinely open. Neither option is a trap, and there's no losing ending. The point isn't to catch a child picking wrong; it's to let them see that a decision led somewhere, and then let them turn back and try the other path.
About your child's photo
A photo of your child is a sensitive thing to hand to a company, and we treat it that way. Uploaded photos are processed securely, used only to create your book, and deleted after your order is fulfilled.
The photo is always optional. A book personalized by name and dedication alone still works — it just will not look like them.
